John Baymore was asked to represent the United States at a formal panel discussion concerning the future of this Festival as an artistic and cultural exchange, and to explore ideas for the future.

Here John is putting the finishing touches on a twisted flute vase form and a faceted flower arranging basket that are both to be fired unglazed in the large Kanayama noborigama.
