Unglazed Vase Form

This thrown vase form is intended as a visual statement all by itself. It has a subtle soft quality imparted to the flattened lip area. It was stacked unglazed in a firebox of the noborigama, where it was fired to over 2500 F, and embeded in a pile of coals and ash. #1005
