Unglazed Bottle with fire markings

This unglazed thrown form was stacked in the main firebox area of the noborigama. The neck of the round form is squared off. It had a yunomi stacked over the top neck area with straw packed in between the two pieces and three pads of clay on the bottle's shoulder to separate them after firing. The documantation of the path of the fire and the beautiful deposits of fused wood ash are evident. #1007
