This flower arranging vase was thrown out of a mass of roughly mixed (neriage) white and dark clays with granular feldspathic rocks in them. It was altered, and handbuilt feet were added. It was stacked unglazed, placed on it's side supported with three clay-packed seashells as stilts. The path of the flame and ash is clearly evident. #964
