This exhibition quality yunomi (green tea cup) is made of a claybody that has so much rocky granite included in it that it almost is more small rocks than clay. The fused rocky inclusions provide a rough textural quality to the exposed claybody at the foot, and melt into the shino glaze to texturally alter it's more typical color and surface qualities. Add to that some great carbon trapping!
